We are Electrical

The electrical subteam is behind all of power that flows through the robot. Without electrical, the bridge between software and mechanical would not be possible.

Who We Are

The electrical subteam Spark Youth Robotics Club is responsible for wiring the robot's sensors and motors to the control system. This includes connecting the various components to the robot's power source, as well as to the various controllers and processors that make up the robot's control system. The subteam also ensures that all of the wiring is properly secured and protected, to prevent damage during transport and competition.

One of the key tasks of the electrical subteam is to wire the robot's sensors to the control system so that the software subteam can use them to gather data about the robot's environment. Sensors like encoders, limit switches, and infrared sensors are used to provide feedback to the control system, which is then used to adjust the robot's behavior. The electrical subteam also wires the robot's motors to the control system, which allows the software subteam to control the robot's movement. The subteam will also ensure that the robot's motors are wired to the PID controllers, which are responsible for ensuring that the robot moves with the desired speed and accuracy.
